Still not sure, what is up with my phone/laptop. At present, I am having to message my boyfriend and he sends them back to me so I can edit them. This is going to slow down things considerably. In addition, there is the risk that one or other may die.

Bag Width

Before I can do anything, I need to check the Bag Width. I want to make sure that I start Picking Up in the Centre.

First Pick Up

Having measured and found the Centre point. I needed to work out how High up the Bag to start. I need the Pocket to be a reasonable Size. What I do not want is it to fail to leave room for the Flap

Tough Work

Picking Up is far Tougher Work than I anticipated. The fact that all the Colour Changing I have done has made the Stitches very Tight. I am really struggling to try and Pick Up any Stitches.

Wonky

As predicted things did not go well. If you look at the above photograph, you will see a distinct Slope in the Stitches I have picked up. This means I will have to start again.

Half Stitches

I have redone what I had originally Picked Up. There is still a slight Slope but I feel that it is the best I am likely to get. Now I have to add the other Half of the Stitches.

My most sincere apologies for this late blog. I am really struggling with getting the photographs transferred. I guess I really am number44 droopy drawers.

Wonky Hems

 

The state of my health can really be seen in the constant corrections I have to make. This time it is a Wonky Hem. It is only when I was Folded that I could see how much out of alignment it was.

Unpick Hems

 

I have to Unpick all the Hems I have done. I am starting with the Side Hems.

 Needle Measure

 

One of the Hems is the Original and therefore Machine done. Therefore, I am starting in the Top Corner. I am using one of the Knitting Needles to act as a guide. When I get to the end of one, I will continue with the other to Measure out the Hem.

Book It

 

It did not work. I was still finding that I was offline. Therefore, I am now using a Book. If you are wondering why I did not do this, in the first place it is Simple. I am currently unable to move much and therefore had to use what I could reach. I hope that this will work better.

Still struggling with jaw problems but have managed to do some Sewing

Move Down

 

Nearly forgot to Move Down the Backing before I Pinned it. Luckily, I remembered just in time. I Sewed the Backing all the way around.

New Stretch

 

I now need to Lengthen the Backing. I do not think that this New Stretch will be long enough so will have to do it in Sections.

 Sew Sections

 

That is the first two Sections Sewn together.

A bit Wonky

 

The other End that I have done has turned out a little Bit Wonky. I am hoping that it is just because I have not Washed it yet. Normally I would do that first.

Machine Wash

 

Okay I have now Washed and Pressed the End. I had other greens to do so put them all in the Machine to Wash. It appears that Machine Washing makes it far more likely to Fray than when I do it by hand. Something to remember for the future.
