A Comfy Candy Cane Christmas 2019 Part 1

If you remember in my blog ‘A Comfy Candy Christmas 2019 Part 1’ I had cut out two Foam pieces. This blog is about continuing with the Candy Cane.

Candy Cane Canvas

I found a piece of Canvas that is large enough to cover both sides of the Cane.

Candy Cane Corner

I start by putting the Foam as far over on the Canvas as possible then Pin the Corner.

Candy Cane Trimmed

I Trimmed off the excess material to make it easier to work with. I also Trimmed off a few extraneous pieces of Foam.

Glue Foam

 

I flip the Foam and Glue along the Back and Side prior to Covering.

Pin Edge

I make sure that after I have Covered the Edge I Pin it tightly so it doesn’t slip

Pin Folded Material

I then Fold the material and put it smooth. I then Pin and leave to dry.
